Program Attendance Days

Choose the program that best suits your family’s needs:

• 2-Day Program: Mondays and Tuesdays

• 3-Day Program: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

• Please note: Attendance days are fixed and cannot be changed. Children attend on the designated days for the program they are enrolled in.

  Priority of Access

• Enrolments are offered in line with government funding guidelines, which may be updated from time to time.

  Priority of access is given to:

  • Children currently enrolled at Riverside Preschool who wish to continue for a second year

  • Children aged 4 years or older on or before 31 July in that preschool year and not yet enrolled or registered at a school.

  • Children aged 3 years old or older on or before 31 July in that preschool year who are from a family holding a low-income Health Care Card.

  • Children aged 3 years or older on or before July 31st of the preschool year and have a diagnosed disability or additional needs

  • Children who are at risk of significant harm (from a Child protection perspective)

  • Children aged 3 years old or older or before 31 July in that preschool year who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

  • Children aged 3 years old or older or before 31 July in that preschool year with English language needs.

    We follow the Department of Education’s guidelines to ensure access for children with the greatest need
