COVID-19

We are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and following the daily advice and alerts from the Department of Health and Public Health Units. Our greatest responsibility and priority during this challenging time is to ensure the health and safety of your children, our staff and visitors to the service.

If your child has a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath or has a person in the household who has these symptoms, to please stay home and seek medical advice.

If your chlid, or a member of your household, has recently been in a NSW declared COVID-19 hotspot we ask that you seek medical advice before returning to Riverside. If you have recently travelled to Victoria you will be required to self isolate and must not attend the preschool until fourteen days from the date you entered New South Wales.

It’s natural to worry about what COVID-19 might mean for you and your family. If you are concerned and need support, please talk to your GP or a local counsellor. Information and resources is available through ChildCareAustralia. For immediate support please call Lifeline on 131 114 or Beyond Blue on 1300 224 636

For further information regarding COVID-19 please visit the NSW Health Information page or if you have concerns regarding symptoms, please contact your local GP or call the National Coronavirus 24 hour Helpline 1800 020 080.

We appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe and healthy at Riverside. Thank you.
